The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Inbound Marketing Copywriter with expertise in B2B content and content strategy to develop digitally-focused content that drives demand and nurtures leads for our portfolio of technology and SaaS clients. The heart of what you do is creating useful content and engaging experiences for our clients’ customers. Whether attracting potential customers with ad copy and landing pages, engaging leads with helpful email sequences, or delighting customers with buyers guides, case studies, and blog content, you know how to write for the marketing flywheel to catalyze growth.

Responsibilities of the Role

The Inbound Marketing Copywriter will primarily be responsible for developing content strategy inbound marketing, demand generation campaigns, lead management and automated marketing programs to drive leads and new business acquisition for our B2B tech and SaaS clients. On a daily basis, you’ll develop and write full-funnel demand gen and lead nurturing content from email sequences, landing pages, retargeting ads, buyers guides, case studies, blogs, and more. You understand the marketing flywheel, persona-based marketing, the cornerstones of a good brand – and your writing reflects this. You are obsessive about the details, and produce perfectly clean, publications-ready copy every time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Demand and Lead Generation - You’re an expert in all things demand and lead generation. From email marketing and social media copy to landing pages, retargeting ads and Google Adwords – you know the ins and outs and are exceptional at delivering written marketing and sales copy that converts. You are experienced in search optimization and SEO requirements regarding creative content for digital marketing.
• Content Strategy & Research - You’re experienced writing for different buyer personas and love the research phase of a project. Preferably even conducted buyer and stakeholder interviews. You have a comprehensive understanding of brand strategy and content delivery. You understand how to get to the core messaging of a brief and possess the ability to manage and deliver on client expectations – on budget and on time, every time.
• B2B and Tech Expertise - You’ve worked in, know, and love the complexities of working in B2B. You believe, like we do, that B2B presents amazing opportunities for innovating in marketing. Furthermore, you love tech and digital transformation, and you can not only understand what our clients do but can articulate what they do for both non-technical and technical audiences.
• Effortless Communicator - You possess a proven ability to effectively communicate and report on project delivery in a way that is clear, definitive, and simple. Whether verbal or written, your communications are delivered clearly across, between, and within organisations. You don’t shy away from difficult conversations, and you possess practical and reputable experience to call upon when engaging, influencing and negotiating with various audiences.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in B2B marketing and communications
• Solid experience writing demand/lead generation copy and content
• Agency or consultancy background, or experience in high-growth businesses
• Exceptional work ethic and client service mentality
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Right to work and live in New Zealand

Work Requirements

At Aamplify we value and respect flexible work arrangements. As such, this role can work flexibly in terms of location and traditional office hours. The role requires a commitment of 20-24 hours per week over the duration of the 6-month contract with option to extend.
