We've got an old saying we like to wheel out about ourselves (pun very much intended); the mechanic's own car is famously the last one to get looked at. Well… ours had been sitting in the driveway for years! We spend every day making other brands look sharp, load faster, convert better and actually say something to the people they're trying to reach, while our own brand was, quite frankly, running on fumes.
So say hello to Aamplify, same team, same clients, same slightly obsessive relationship with HubSpot, wrapped in a brand that finally works as hard as we do.
It wasn't one thing. It was a slew of them.
Our website wasn't performing the way it needed to (that's the subject of our next post, Meet our new website: Built for 2026 and beyond). Underneath it, we didn't have an up-to-date brand platform or messaging framework to build from, and in a HubSpot market that's only got more crowded, nothing about us clearly stood out. We had visuals that represented what we did well enough, but they were quietly going out of date.
Most importantly, we simply weren't communicating what we do and who we do it for effectively enough, and it certainly wasn't for lack of good work; our clients told us that often enough. We've just never been much good at tooting our own horn, as we like to say. We weren't saying it clearly, consistently, or with any real conviction, out loud, to the people who needed to hear it.
We've still got work to do. But we now have a platform to grow from and the tools to scale quickly, which is more than we could say a year ago.
HubSpot isn't a tool we use, it's embedded in everything we do, and our new positioning finally says that out loud instead of treating it like a footnote. But the technology was never meant to lead. We lead with human creativity, and we use AI to enhance, accelerate and amplify what that creativity can do inside the HubSpot customer platform. Not replace it. Not automate the thinking away. Just give it more reach and more precision than it had before.
That idea is the core of the new brand:
That's not just a nice line for a manifesto, though. It's a filter every deliverable runs through. Technology and Intelligent Insight do plenty of heavy lifting, but Art's the part we're proudest of, the special sauce in the recipe, and it shows up in everything we do.
In brand work, Art means building a narrative that actually connects with the people you're trying to reach, not slotting your story into a template because it's faster. In marketing, it's creative storytelling that earns attention because it feels human, not because it's loud. On a website, it's design that speaks to the real problems your buyers are wrestling with, not just design that looks nice in a portfolio. And even in HubSpot implementation, the part of the work that's easy to assume is purely technical, Art still shows up; it's the difference between a portal that technically functions and one that actually feels built for you rather than templated for anyone.
It's also the hardest of the three to fake, which is probably why we lean on it hardest.
These five words aren't just something we put on a slide, they're what we actually hold each other to, day to day, and what we hope you hold us to as well.
Ingenuity is what happens when we stop treating creativity and technology as two separate departments and let them argue it out in the same room, that friction is where the sharpest ideas come from, and sharper ideas are what actually move the needle. That's how we Aamplify Impact.
Humanity is the reminder that there's a person on the other end of every campaign, every workflow, every dashboard, us included, and work built with that in mind lands differently. That's how we Aamplify Connections.
Synergy is the unglamorous stuff, showing up, being easy to work with, doing what we said we'd do when we said we'd do it, because nothing gets delivered well by people working against each other. That's how we Aamplify Outcomes.
Reliability is what lets you stop worrying about us and focus on your own job, and a team you can actually rely on is one that keeps delivering results over time, not just once. That's how we Aamplify Performance.
Fun is the one people assume is fluff until they've sat in a meeting with a team that's lost it. A team that enjoys the work brings more of themselves to it; that's how we Aamplify the Human Touch, and honestly, it's the reason most of us are still here.
What was "holding us back" was never a lack of focus or a team chasing shiny distractions. It was the opposite. We poured almost everything into servicing our clients, so relentlessly that we never carved out the time or headspace to do the same for ourselves.
That's not a humble-brag; it's genuinely how a lot of us operate. We work very closely with the companies we partner with; some of the team effectively act as that function within their business, and we feel connected to their success in a way that's hard to explain to people outside this industry. Somewhere in that devotion, our own brand quietly slipped to the bottom of the list, for years.
This rebrand is us finally giving ourselves the same attention we give everyone else.
Read Meet Our New Website: Built for 2026 and Beyond next; that's where all this theory meets the actual product: why our website wasn't performing, and what we built instead. After that, we'll step away from talking about ourselves entirely and get into why brand is about to matter more than it has in years, for everyone, not just agencies overdue for a refresh.
But how refreshing it's been to spend a bit of time working on ourselves for a change. Or maybe that's just the relief of finally getting Jo off my back about a new website. Either way, we're proper proud of where we've landed, and we can't wait to show you what's next.
Thanks for indulging us. Normal, client-obsessed programming resumes shortly.
